2019/20 Futsal Premier League 2

The Football NSW Futsal Premier League 2 is the second highest level of Futsal in New South Wales. The competition takes place in the summer season, building up to the Finals Series in late February.

The competition consists of 8 clubs competing in 10 age groups:

◾13 Girls
◾14 Boys
◾15 Girls
◾16 Boys
◾18 Women
◾Youth Men
◾Open Women
◾Open Men

The teams compete in a round-robin structure where each side plays each another twice; upon completion a Premier is crowned.

The top four sides by the end of the season compete in the Championship Series. The teams are seeded upon their entry into the Championship Series according to their final position on the ladder. There is a Major Semi Final and a Minor Semi Final.

The winner of the Major Semi Final will go into the Grand Final. The winner of the Minor Semi Final will play the loser of the Major Semi Final in the Preliminary Final. The winner of the Preliminary Final will go into the Grand Final. The Grand Final winner will be crowned Championship Winners.

Football NSW Child Protection Training Requirements

West City Crusaders FC and Football NSW are committed to the safety and welfare of all children and young people in Futsal/Football.
Coaches and managers must comply with the National Member Protection policy which includes the FFA Codes of Behaviour. A breach of the National Member Protection policy can result in disciplinary action by Football NSW. Some breaches may also be reported to Police or other authorities.

To meet Football NSW child protection training requirements, all registered team officials in the FNSW Futsal Premier League are required to complete:
The Play By the Rules online Child Protection Training Course, and
The Play By the Rules online Harassment & Discrimination Training Course.
This is a mandatory requirement. There are no exemptions or recognition of prior learning.
Under these requirements, the term ‘team official’ includes but is not limited to coach, manager, trainer, physiotherapist, Doctor or any other official required to be registered and hold a FNSW ID Card to be able to enter the technical area or playing pitch.
These requirements do not apply to NSW Ambulance officers, NSW Fire Brigade, NSW Police, SES or other emergency service personnel in the course of performing their duties.


What are you required to provide? – The certificates that you provide for each of the courses must be current at the time of your registration.
To check if your certificates are current
All new certificates issued now have an expiry date
If your certificate has a date of issue, certificates are valid for 2 years.
If you do not have your certificates, follow steps 1 and 2 below and once logged into the training portal, select the My Learning tab and then select Completed and your current courses will be displayed. Check that your certificates are current. They are only valid for 2 years from date of issue.
To download your certificates from the training portal once the course has been completed – select the relevant course and then, at the top of the page select “Congratulations, you have completed the course. Click here tab to get your certificate”. Your certificate should then automatically download as a PDF at the bottom of the page. Once downloaded, save the certificate to your computer.
You will also need to submit your Certificates to both FNSW and your Club.
If your certificates are not current or if you have not completed the courses previously, complete the training courses as outlined below.

The courses are free and each course takes approx. 20 minutes to complete.
STEP 1 Enter the Online training portal
STEP 2 Log in by entering your Username and Password. If you are new to the site, select Register and enter your details and select your sport as Football (soccer) and then log in.
STEP 3 Log in, then select the Browse Learning tab at the top of the page, go to Page 2 of the course list, then select ‘PBTR – Child Protection’ course.
STEP 4 Complete the course and the Course Assessment then save and print the Certificate from the My Learning tab.
STEP 5 Same as Steps 3 & 4, but select ‘PBTR – Harassment & Discrimination’ course.
STEP 6 Submit both course Certificates to Football NSW. To submit your Certificates click here.

Football NSW will only issue your ID card when both Certificates have been received and coaching qualifications have been checked (if applicable) and you have correctly registered on the National Registration Database.
Your club will be notified when ID cards have been processed and are ready for supply or collection by an authorised club official.
Team officials are not permitted in the Technical Area without an ID card. Breaches of this rule may be subject to disciplinary sanction by FNSW.

2019/20 Futsal Declaration of Leagues

The 2019/20 Futsal season will again see, the introduction of 0nly the two tiers of Elite Futsal Competitions.

The Football NSW Futsal Premier League and Futsal Premier League 2 will both feature eight (8) Clubs playing in a home and away match format during the 2019/20 Futsal season.

Each Club will field teams in ten age groups – U/11 & U/12 Boys, U/13 Girls, U/14 Boys, U/15 Girls, U/16 Boys, U/18 Women, Youth Men, Open Women, Open Men, With promotion and relegation between the two tiers of competition.

2019/20 will also see the introduction of a non competition Futsal Development League with an U/11 Boys age group and an U/11 Girls age group. Eleven (11) Futsal Premier League and Futsal Premier League 2 Clubs will make up the U/11 Boys, while eight (8) Clubs will make up the U/11 Girls age group.

The Futsal Development League will be non-competitive and is solely aimed at promoting the sports development.

Entry to all Leagues is dependent upon the criteria relating to the Football NSW Limited competitions being met by each club, including confirmed access to compliant facilities.
